Collaboration Project with Chigasaki Special Needs School: Workplace Tour

• We designed and utilized ice cream illustrations drawn by students from Chigasaki Special Needs School on Plenty’s packaging paper.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic, we connected classrooms with Plenty online to conduct workplace tours showcasing ice cream manufacturing and sales.
• Shonan Chigasaki MILK was used in school lunches throughout Chigasaki City.

Achieving 100% Chigasaki-Produced Milk Ice Cream

• We collaborated with dairy farmers within Chigasaki City to manufacture and sell milk ice cream made with 100% Chigasaki-produced raw milk.
• We switched to using Chigasaki-produced raw milk for products like ice cream and waffles, promoting a store concept centered on local production for local consumption.

Significantly reduce plastic waste and packaging waste

• By switching from plastic spoons to wooden spoons, we have achieved a significant reduction in plastic waste.
• By switching to locally sourced raw milk from Chigasaki for our products, we have achieved a significant reduction in packaging waste.

Participating in the Chigasaki Aloha Biz Project

• We participate annually in Chigasaki City’s Aloha Biz initiative, a Cool Biz program, to promote community-wide environmental activities.
